Providing care to our patients, starting January 2, 2025

"As a nurse, I found myself drawn to moments where I could offer not only medical care, but also hope, clarity and compassion to patients navigating these challenges. Becoming a nurse practitioner gave me the opportunity to expand my role in providing that care, advocating for my patients and building long-term relationships that focus on improving their quality of life.
I chose to become a nurse practitioner in neurology because I’ve always been fascinated by the complexity of the brain and nervous system, and how they shape who we are. But more than that, I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound impact neurological conditions can have on patients and their families—how they can disrupt lives in ways that go beyond physical symptoms. Neurology isn’t just about treating diseases; it’s about understanding the person behind the condition. To me, being a nurse practitioner in this field is about combining clinical expertise with empathy to help patients and their families find strength and resilience in the face of adversity. It’s incredibly rewarding, and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.” Experience and Education
