Since 1992, CTNC has provided comprehensive neurological services to the residents of Williamson and Travis Counties. Our primary goal is to improve your quality of life with a level of care and compassion focused on improving outcomes and renewing hope.

CTNC is comprised of neurologists who maintain hospital affiliations with the St. David's Health System, primarily St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. Each of our physicians is board certified and sub-specialty trained in headache, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, epilepsy, sleep medicine and multiple sclerosis. The physicians at CTNC are recognized locally as a leading authority in neurological care. 
 


With convenient onsite services such as EEG, EMG, home sleep testing, infusion services, Botox, Deep Brain Stimulation, and Vagus Nerve Stimulation, among others, CTNC offers a seamless continuum of care from one team.

What should I bring to my first appointment at CTNC? 

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment time with the following items:

  • Office notes from your previous doctors: neurologist, primary care physician, etc.
  • Any relevant radiology reports
  • Any relevant test results: Lab, CT, EEG, VEP, EMG/NCV, Echocardiogram, Lumbar Puncture, etc.
  • Insurance Cards
  • Photo ID
  • Patient forms (that we send to you prior to your appointment) filled out by you
Depending on what I have, how do I choose treatment?

We’ll work with you to create a treatment plan that takes into account your unique history and needs. When choosing a treatment, we’ll discuss:

  • Effectiveness. How well does the therapy work, both as you begin therapy and over time?
  • Side effects. Nearly every medication has some kind of side effect. Review the side effects of each treatment option with your medical provider.
  • Lifestyle. Consider how the treatment will fit with your responsibilities (work, travel, family).
  • Medication type. Which delivery method works best for you? Options include injection, oral medications and infusions through an IV.
How much will my treatments cost?

The cost of your visit and treatments can vary depending on several factors including which therapy, your insurance status and insurance provider. Our team at CTNC is committed to lowering costs and improving access for our patients. We work with all virtually all leading commercial insurance providers in the greater Central Texas region, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. We're here to make treatment more affordable and less stressful. Our team takes care of prior authorizations and benefits verification for you, and we'll personally guide you through copay assistance and foundation support programs to help lower your out-of-pocket costs.

What's a Neurologist?

A neurologist is a board-certified medical doctor (MD) or osteopathic medical doctor (DO) who is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, including diseases of the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists perform neurological examinations of the nerves in the head and neck, muscle strength and movement, balance, ambulation, reflexes, sensation, memory, speech, language, and other cognitive abilities.

They also perform diagnostic tests, including the following:

  • CAT (computed axial tomography) scan
  • MRI/MRA (magnetic resonance imaging/magnetic resonance angiography)
  • Lumbar Puncture (spinal tap)
  • EEG (electroencephalography)
  • EMG/NCV (electromyography/nerve conduction velocity)
  • Sleep Studies (polysomnogram, home sleep testing, Multiple Sleep Latency Test, Maintenance of Certification Test

When should I see a Neurologist?

You should consider seeing a neurologist if you experience persistent headaches, seizures, memory problems, dizziness, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, tremors, or if your primary care physician refers you for neurological symptoms.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of neurological conditions including headaches and migraines, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, neuropathy, movement disorders, sleep disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. We also provide care for patients with brain injuries and spinal cord disorders.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling our office directly at 512-218-1222. When calling, please have your insurance information, referring physician details (if applicable), and a list of current medications ready.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please call our office as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. We request at least 48 hours notice to avoid cancellation fees and to allow other patients the opportunity to be seen.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept most major insurance plans, but coverage can change frequently. Please call our office with your insurance information, and we'll verify your benefits and let you know about any potential out-of-pocket costs before your appointment.
