Just had testing done for Carpal tunnel by Dr. Horvit. He was absolutely great! My aunt warned me that the test would be painful because of the needles but any pain I did feel was easily remedied by a most enjoyable visit with Dr. Horvit. I was talking to him while he did the test and he actually heard what I was saying because he listened and cared! He took interest in my and the test flew by... Thank you Dr. Horvit!
Breanna is amazing. She got me in almost immediately to see her once my test results came in from a referral, to explain them to me and start treatment. She spent a good hour listening to my concerns and addressing them, compassionately helping me answering the many questions I had about my complex health issues...I highly recommend Breanna to anyone who needs a movement disorder specialist. We work with all virtually all leading commercial insurance providers in the greater Central Texas region, as well as Medicaid and Medicare. We're here to make treatment more affordable and less stressful. Our team takes care of prior authorizations and benefits verification for you, and we'll personally guide you through copay assistance and foundation support programs to help lower your out-of-pocket costs.
Currently, there is no cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), but there are several effective treatment options to help manage the disease. Multiple sclerosis treatment options fall into three main categories: disease-modifying therapies (DMTs), treatments for relapses, and symptom management.
Disease-modifying therapies can improve function after an attack, reduce the frequency of new attacks, slow multiple sclerosis progression, and reduce disability accumulation. MS medications are available in several forms:

A neurologist is a board-certified medical doctor (MD) or osteopathic medical doctor (DO) who is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system disorders, including diseases of the brain, spine, nerves, and muscles. Neurologists perform neurological examinations of the nerves in the head and neck, muscle strength and movement, balance, ambulation, reflexes, sensation, memory, speech, language, and other cognitive abilities.

You should consider seeing a neurologist if you experience persistent headaches, seizures, memory problems, dizziness, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, tremors, or if your primary care physician refers you for neurological symptoms.
